Below you can find a list of taxonomy (categories) files for most countries. The data is useful for knowing the categories in your native language. However, you can also use US taxonomy for all countries. Countries that do not have a local language will have to use the US language. You can use ID’s or category names.
Google does not frequently change this data, and the last edit was 2015. Most merchants that land on this page are searching for an updated list, which does not exist. If you can’t find a category that fits in your product, don’t use any.
Tip:
The language you use, native, or the US does not matter as all categories match the US language identically. There is no ranking benefit between the languages.

If your country is not listed or the country does not have the native language listed, than you can only use US language.

I see that the last translated version in Norwegian is from 2021. Is also the latest US taxonomy list from 2021, or might there be differences in versions and categories here?
Google does not update the taxonomy often, or ever. Pre 2021, the update was 2015. So 6 years for an update.
No, there will be no difference, between US or Norwegian taxonomy.
You can default to just using the US version for any country you like.

Yes, I can see this too. You can look at the US version of 1076, which in this case is Sporting Goods > Athletics > Baseball & Softball > Baseball & Softball Gloves & Mitts
Where is the find or seach button within the US taxonomy site?
There is none, however if you download the excel file you can search within your spreadsheet editor.

If your language is not available, then use the default US English.
So sad. My Indonesian language is’nt in the list. What is the procedure to make available, translate the text one by one?
If your country is not listed, you need to use US language. All other languages or translated languages will be refused by Google.
