A while ago, Google added a new attribute for adding videos, namely, video_link.
Important
This is strange, but Google Merchant Center states in the documentation that it does not support YouTube videos; however, Google Manufacturer Center does support YouTube videos. But if we look at shopping results, as shown in the screenshot below, YouTube videos are displayed. So, I wonder why Google says this. For merchants that want to safeguard the videos, it will mean you have to host your videos elsewhere. I recommend uploading your videos to Google Cloud. You can use the Google VOD or Cloud Storage.
However, I recommend testing it with YouTube videos first, as from my experiments, I can tell you that Google Merchant Center supports YouTube videos. Here is a screenshot of one of my clients.
How To Add Videos In Google Merchant Center?
If your data feed application supports this, you can add video links to the app itself. Contact the support team or check the documents to learn how to do so.
In most cases, there will be 1 video per product or at least 1 video per product group separated by variations. In this case, I recommend using a supplemental feed so that you can add the video link for each product individually.
Here are examples of how it will look like.
