Before the policy update, you required a minimum of 2 contact points on your website. Starting from August 2021, you only need 1.
Which Contact Options Can I Choose?
- A contact us form
- A link to a social media business profile (Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter)
- An email address
- A phone number
You do need to add your private business details in Google Merchant Center.
- Go to Google Merchant Center
- Click on the Gear Icon in the top right corner
- Business Information
I recommend providing as much transparency and trust signals to your customers by publicly adding all contact information.
