If you’ve ever worked with Google Ads, you might have noticed an odd occurrence: a draft campaign is listed even though the counter says “0” drafts in progress. It’s a minor issue that can be confusing—especially if you’re trying to keep your account tidy and organized.
In this article, I’ll explain how to identify and remove draft campaigns from your Google Ads account.
Step-by-Step: How to Remove Draft Campaigns in Google Ads
1. Go to the Overview Page
To uncover hidden drafts:
- Click on the Overview section in the left-hand menu.

- Scroll down until you see a section labeled “Draft Campaigns.”

4. Remove the Draft Campaign
Hover over the campaign you want to delete. A “Remove” button will appear. Click it, confirm in the pop-up, and you’re done!
Alternatively, you can resume working on the draft instead of deleting it if you want to continue.
