Initially, I read that the &#8220;Buy on Google&#8221; feature would no longer be available. Fast forward to September 2023, and the information has been updated (or I did not read the info correctly): Buy on Google will remain functional for YouTube when integrated with Shopify and the app <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.shopify.com\/google?search_id=cfa67223-0a73-443a-a6a7-3fac50c35125&amp;surface_detail=google+shopping&amp;surface_inter_position=1&amp;surface_intra_position=11&amp;surface_type=search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Google &amp; YouTube<\/a>. However, the feature will be phased out for Google Search and Shopping platforms. Interestingly, Google has also introduced a new feature that somewhat mirrors the functionality of Buy on Google, known as &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/feedarmy.com\/kb\/checkout_link_template-a-new-google-merchant-center-attribute\/\" title=\"\">checkout link templates<\/a>&#8221; or the <a href=\"https:\/\/feedarmy.com\/kb\/2nd-mehod-for-adding-checkout-link-to-your-products-on-google-free-shopping\/\" title=\"\">UI version<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was puzzled when Google still had the retailer standards guidelines in the Google Merchant Center UI.
